YourStory is excited to invite families and young individuals to apply for our comprehensive support services

Family Support

YourStory family support and intervention is provided by an experienced family practitioner. They can support the family member with a range of challenges such as financial guidance, post release integration, improved family relationships and how to deal with probation, social work, police and schools in a more effective way. The practitioner is also a trained bereavement counsellor if that is required. This support can be provided face to face or on-line.

Mentoring Young people

YourStory mentors work one-to-one with referred young people to support positive life choices. Sessions take place at an agreed safe location (e.g. YourStory office, a local café, or online), typically for up to an hour, two to three times a month. We also support younger family members (25 or under) who are NEET or at risk of offending or gang involvement, through one-to-one mentoring.
YourStory

YourStory has supported disadvantaged young people aged 11–18 and their families since 2003. We mentor those facing challenges such as behavioural issues, risk of offending, gang involvement, or long-term health conditions. The organisation also offers support to their families when needed.
