Who the project works with

The Hampton Project is located near Balham and Streatham Hill in London. The project works with students in years 10 and 11 who have committed a criminal offence and are no longer in school. It operates as a small family team, working with small groups of six young people and a maximum of 18 students. The project provides a range of GCSE and vocational qualifications as well as a youth work programme. The programmes provide a rich mix of opportunities for young people to contribute to study projects they can enjoy and which provide a sense of achievement.

Youth work programme

The project’s fully qualified counsellors and youth workers provide group workshops on drug and alcohol awareness, sex education and life skills. Activities in sports, arts and drama are provided as well as advice on education and employment options.
